This photo is very striking. That shadow is so dramatic, and to me I find it even more moving because the gentleman casting it is obviously leaving - running away perhaps? No matter, he can't escape his shadow.

Very nice, I love it.

Yeah, someone told me it looked very demonic....because his shadow is so big....can't get away from his demons. Nevermind eh. Cheers

I love the framing of the shot and the high angle which is interesting. I like the way the path is so brightly lit, running straight through the lower portion of the shot and standing out against the darker surroundings. The long shadow really makes the image complete and I like the composition of the figure within the frame too. The shot has a New York feel to it and the use of black and white has a kind of film noir quality which I really like. It very much reminds me of certain László Moholy-Nagy photographs too.
